Privacy Policy — Window Switcher Pro

Window Switcher Pro is a keyboard-driven window switcher for macOS, developed by Remnant Security (Ian Trimble). We designed the app to be private by default. Window Switcher Pro does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data.

Data we collect

None. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. The Mac App Store version runs in Apple's App Sandbox with no network-client capability, so it cannot send information off your device.

System permissions the app requests

To function as a window switcher, macOS requires you to grant two permissions. Both are used only on your device, in real time, and the information they expose never leaves your Mac:

• Accessibility — lets the app list your open windows and bring the one you choose to the front. Window titles and app names are read only to display the switcher and are never recorded or transmitted.
• Screen Recording — lets the app render live thumbnail previews of your open windows using Apple's ScreenCaptureKit. These previews are generated on demand while the switcher is visible and are never saved or sent anywhere.

Third parties

Window Switcher Pro contains no third-party SDKs, analytics, or advertising frameworks. No data is shared with any third party because no data is collected.

Children's privacy

The app is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
